I come from a family with experience in the healthcare field as my father is a family physician.

Today, I am proud and excited to practice dentistry alongside my wife, Dr. Kelsey Sullivan. Together we love dentistry and enjoy doing all family, cosmetic, and emergency dental procedures.

Working together as a team allows us to focus on procedures we enjoy the most and yet, offer more procedures to our patients as a team. My wife and dental partner enjoys cosmetic dentistry, children’s dentistry, doing gentle root canals, and many other family dentistry procedures. I personally enjoy providing all-family dentistry and emergency dentistry services. I also sincerely enjoy full-mouth reconstruction cases.

My background in Biological Systems Engineering, with a minor in Biomedical Engineering, allows me to think of the best options for complex dental treatment. Thus, I am able to help my patients recreate their smiles or create an entirely new one. I enjoy complex cases, challenging cases and encourage patients with complex dental needs to see me for an initial consultation.

I graduated from UN-L with a B.S. in Biological Systems Engineering and a minor in Biomedical Engineering. After graduating from UN-L, I then earned my DDS from UNMC College of Dentistry. During this time in college and dental school, I was a Regents Scholar and received the Dean’s Award for High Academic Achievement, and graduated with Highest Distinction.

From an early age, I was inspired by my father, who is a physician. I knew I wanted to be in the healthcare field and help people. In addition to helping people, dentistry has allowed me to blend science, technology, medicine, and art together into one. 

In addition to making sure each patient is heard, I promise to provide top-notch care. I know that the connection between oral health and overall health is undeniable. There are numerous studies linking periodontal disease with several negative systemic effects such as diabetes, heart disease, and even cancer.

Your mouth is one of the main connections between your body and the world around you. It helps toddlers build their immune systems, it is the starting point of your digestive system, and it can also be a portal for harmful pathogens. The health of your teeth, gums, and entire mouth are truly vital to your total body health.

I believe that a great dentist for families in Lincoln, NE is one who truly cares about their patients. Being a great listener is a vital skill for every occupation, with dentists being no exception. Hearing and understanding every patient is critical because we are a team. Not only are the dentists, hygienists, assistants, and treatment coordinators a part of the team, but our patients are also part of the team. Without the patients being part of the team, we wouldn’t be successful in achieving healthy smiles. Aside from being a great listener, making sure that patients know that you hear what they are saying and care about helping them is critical. That is what would comfort me most as a patient, so that is how I try to treat all of my patients.
